Do you have a manuscript on which you’d like feedback? Want input on how a piece is going, suggestions for revision, or just another pair of eyes looking over your work? You’re in luck; Inkberry offers one-on-one manuscript critique, either in-person (at Inkberry during our office hours) or online (via e-mail).

The hourly rate for manuscript critique is $35. We will read up to 15 pages of double-spaced prose, or up to 8 pages of single-spaced poetry, and consider that covered by the hourly fee. For every up-to-20 pages of prose beyond that, or up-to-10 pages of poetry beyond that, we charge an additional $30.

If you have a book manuscript for us to consider, we’ll take a look at the introduction or first chapter and give you feedback on that first. If you find the process useful, we can negotiate a rate for reading and critiquing the whole manuscript.
